Microphone noise reduction seems not working (both of two mic used as voice input in call) - Poco F1 (Beryllium)
Expected Behavior
Pocophone has voice mic at the bottom and second mic on the top of device. In my understnading, it may be used for noise reduction when it is used in voice call.
Current Behavior
Both of mics (on top and bottom of device) are used as "input" in phone call, like the way it works in video recoding.
Possible Solution
maybe... a build prop option is missing? (e.g. https://forum.xda-developers.com/poco-f1/themes/fix-noises-echoes-mic-t3886049/post79386699)
Steps to Reproduce
You can just make a phonecall (including messenger apps feature) and try blowing into secondary(top) mic to examine how it works. (or make phonecall in crowded, noisy place)
OR, to see audio signal visually
- Install & Run Spectroid from Play Store (to visualize how mic work when calling)
- Touch triple-dot menu button on the right top of screen
- Go to [Settings - Audio - Audio Source] and select "Voice Communication"
- Back to Spectroid main screen
- Rub any of two(bottom-main, top-secondary) microphone with finger
- See how does it react
