bluetooth won't start with lineage-18.1-20230101-nightly-ginkgo-signed.zip

Expected Behavior

The bluetooth starts when activated from the dropdown menu.

Current Behavior

The bluetooth icon flashes for a while and then goes blank again. Eventually the BT app is reported to have crashed.

Possible Solution

Tried rebooting and cleaning data and cache of the BT system app, no difference.

I guess I could downgrade back to 2022-12-01

Steps to Reproduce

Apply an OTA update via TWRP from 2022-12-01 (fresh install) to 2023-01-01
