STK / SIM Tool Kit not working (com.android.stk - Samsung, all models - $100 reward)
Expected Behavior
The SIM Tool Kit app (com.android.stk) should allow to login on the apps that are supporting this login method (i.e. some banking apps)
Current Behavior
The SIM Tool Kit app do nothing when I type the correct PIN code and push "OK".
Possible Solution
This problem seems to be only happening on Samsung devices, no matter which model, see older issues opened for different Samsung models:
- Galaxy S7: #185 (closed)
- Galaxy A5 2016 - #3044 (closed)
Steps to Reproduce
- Open the banking app, select the SIM-toolkit login method, provide your phone number
- Confirm you want to login using SIM-toolkit
- Type the correct PIN code, click "OK", nothing happens
- 10 minutes later you might get a notification of timeout
