Selfie camera in Fairphone 3+ produces oversharpened images

Expected Behavior

Photos done using the selfie camera should create a natural representation.

Current Behavior

Photos done using the selfie camera are filtered using some overly aggressive sharpening filter, see Fairphone Forum for examples.

Possible Solution

Using Open Camera setting Processing settings → Edge mode algorithm from Default to Off helps, if there is a similar internal setting for system wide usage of the camera this might be worth setting.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Make a photo using the selfie camera

/device FP3 /version lineage-18.1 /date 2022-03-21 /kernel 4.9.218+ /baseband msm /mods none
