OnePlus 5T only uses GPS to locate the device (not Galileo, GLONASS, BeiDou)
Expected Behavior
The device uses all supported satellite systems, which are GPS, GLONASS, BeiDou, and Galileo according to the OnePlus website, to locate itself.
Current Behavior
The device sees all the different satellites, but uses GPS satellites only to locate itself, which can be tested with the App "GPSTest". This results in slow location locks in some circumstances. The App GPSTest shows used satellites by marking them with a bold border. See this post - https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/11-0-official-lineageos-18-1-for-oneplus-5-5t.4173997/post-86344049 - for screenshots and an additional explanation.
Possible Solution
None that I know of
Steps to Reproduce
- Install the app "GPSTest" - https://f-droid.org/de/packages/com.android.gpstest.osmdroid/ or https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.android.gpstest
- Go outside to get in range of more satellites if possible
- Open the app and select "Sky" in the sidebar.
- Wait for satellites and look for the ones with a bold border in the picture, which are the used satellites. These are GPS satellites only in my case
