Expected Behavior
I usually use pin encryption and screen lock on my phone. But when I’m at home, I don’t want to enter my PIN every time I use my phone. This is why I use profiles. And this is how I do it. I create a profile that is activated only when I connect to my home Wi-Fi network. This profile is configured with the lock screen disabled.
The screen should turn off after the end of the timeout or the power button, when this profile on.
Current Behavior
Screen turns off and turns back on immediately
Possible Solution
Perhaps the problem is related to Secure start-up, since the problem does not manifest itself with disabled Secure satrt-up
Steps to Reproduce
- Encryption must be enabled.
- Settings - Security - Lock Screen. Turn off the lock screen.
- Settings - System - System Profiles. I press "+" to add a new profile. At the first step, add a trigger by which the profile will be turned on. I select my home Wi-Fi network and select "when connected"
- Click "Next". A window appears with the request "Configure your profile using current settings for girl settings?" - press No.
- Give a name to the new profile
- Scroll down and select the screen lock mode. Choose disable the screen lock.
- Click Finish
- Now select the Default profile. Select the trigger by which it will turn on. Click on your home Wi-Fi network and select "On disconnect".
- Settings - Security - Lock screen. Turn on the lock screen with a pin code.
- When a screen appears with a proposal to enable secure start-up, click "Yes".
- Now, when I unlock my smartphone and connect to my home Wi-Fi network, the screen will no longer be locked - that's correct. But the screen cannot turn off and all the time turns back on immediately - that's bug. As soon as I disconnect from the network, the lock screen will return again - that's correct.
