No VoLTE, Wifi calling on Moto G7 (river)

Expected Behavior

With a T-Mobile (US) SIM installed in the Motorola G7 (river), all toggles for VoLTE and WiFi calling are available and enabled within Android's mobile network settings menu and the phone information/testing menu (##4636 (closed)##). One would therefore expect to see the device place a call over WiFi or LTE.

Current Behavior

When on the carrier's network, device falls back to EDGE. Calls placed when only WiFi is available fail outright. The IMS Service Status option in the above mentioned testing menu shows that IMS is not registering.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Install a T-Mobile (US) SIM,
  2. Enable VoLTE and WiFi calling in the appropriate settings menus,
  3. Place a call. When attached to cellular network, device falls back to EDGE. When only on WiFi, call fails outright.

Notes

I know it's not my SIM card/service, as both VoLTE and WiFI Calling work as intended with the same SIM in a Google Pixel (sailfish). This device is also brand new to me, so I can't say whether or not this functionality worked in a previous version of LineageOS.

Attached separate logcats for VoWiFi and VoLTE. Device was put into airplane mode, log capture was started, and then the desired radio was enabled to try to capture IMS registration. Then a test call was placed.

The specific hardware variant of this device is XT1962-1.

I have read the directions.
