OnePlus 7 Pro Brightness Set to 100% after Fingerprint Unlock

Expected Behavior

Screen Brightness should be unaffected.

Current Behavior

If the Phone is unlocked via the On Screen Fingerprint Sensor sometimes (one in 3-5 attempts) the Brighness is set to maxium regardless of the Users Brightness setting. This is especially annoying at night.

Possible Solution

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Setup fingerprint Unlock on the OnePlus 7 pro
  2. Set Brightness to a low level.
  3. Try locking and unlocking the device via the Fingerprint reader a couple times, until the screen goes to maximum brightness.

The status of the brighness slider in the notification area is unaffected (still set to low brightness).

I have read the directions.

Possibly related to #1675 (closed) although the Screen doesn't flash but stays at 100% brighntness.
