Expected Behavior

I want to be able to delete a partially downloaded update file. Particularly if the partially downloaded file is older than the currently installed release. In that case "continue" download will not even start because it refuses to download older than currently installed release.

Current Behavior

When I hit the "continue" button (which is the only choice) it says it can't install an older version over the currently installed. Only completed downloads can be removed, not partial downloads.

Possible Solution

For partial downloads offer choice of "continue" or "delete".

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Open LOS Updater
  2. Start a download of an older release
  3. Abort the download from Step 2
  4. Start a download of the latest release and complete that download
  5. Install the download from Step 4
  6. After reboot go to the LOS Updater
  7. Search for the aborted download from Step 3
  8. Hit the "continue" button -> it won't do this
  9. See how else to remove the aborted download from Step 3
