Cannot connect to hidden Wi-Fi LineageOS 16 ktle

Expected Behavior

I expected to connect to hidden Wi-Fi

Current Behavior

attempting to connect to hidden Wi-Fi adds an entry to "Saved networks" but does not connect to it. If the network is made visible broadcasting it's SSID LineageOS will connect. When it is invisible it does not connect.

Possible Solution

Broadcast SSID visibly is a workaround but may make some feel less secure. I don't know a fix at this time.

Steps to Reproduce

1.open Settings 2.tap Network and internet 3.tap Wi-Fi 4.Tap Add network 5.Enter the hidden networks SSID, Security and passwords correctly 6.Wait patiently for nothing to happen.

/device klte /version lineage-16.0 /date 2019/11/08 /kernel 3.4.113-lineageos-g2df84e6 #1 Fri Nov 8 18:32:13 UTC 2019 /baseband G900PVPS3CPK1 /mods none. Wiped system, data, dalvik, cache and clean installed.
