CSI MIPI on X1/Zenbook A14: (harmless) ISP crash

When testing Asus Zenbook A14 (UX3407QA), X1-26-100 variant (not present in this tree) there are ISP related crashes. Camera is working however, so they appear to be rather 'harmless'.

As I do not have X1E variant of Zenbook A14, nor any other X1P based device, I cannot confirm if the issue is Asus Zenbook A14 related, or X1P vs X1E related. I have asked a community member with X1E Zenbook to verify camera and share dmesg, but did not get feedback yet.

Steps to reproduce on Zenbook specifically:

  • Start with this tree
  • Get Zenbook support series (ML link, already in linux-next)
  • Get Zenbook fixup series (ML link, already in linux-next)
  • Get Zenbook LCD/OLED split series 1 (ML link, already in drm-next)
  • Get Zenbook LCD/OLED split series 2 (ML link pending, will submit to ML once drm-next merges to linux-next)
  • Get Zenbook MIPI camera patch (out of tree link, until CAMSS support lands)
  • Check dmesg, no need to open qcam

Sample dmesg_zenbook_x126100_isp_crash output attached. More errors appear when qcam is running, though it does not seem to affect picture capture.

ping @bodonoghue. FYI this is the same issue we have briefly disccussed maybe half a year ago, when I just did Zenbook bringup.

I will update the issue once I hear back from X1E-based Zenbook, but wanted to share already, perhaps its of use.
