- rescanning plugins

I'd happily contribute or even pay for this as a commercial app if it had MIDI import. Phrasebox by Venomode has MIDI import but is limited to only 32 steps, so having a 128+ step pattern import would give LibreArp a unique edge in the market. Users can then have unlimited phrases to tweak based on their preferred genre - much like having a massive pool of presets.https://gitlab.com/LibreArp/LibreArp/-/issues/85Resizing the loop to zero may prevent the user from changing it altogether2023-06-02T06:49:27ZOto Šťávaoto.stava@gmail.comResizing the loop to zero may prevent the user from changing it altogetherDue to how the cursor detection for loop lines works, it is possible to change make the loop zero-length, which then renders it completely unchangeable.Due to how the cursor detection for loop lines works, it is possible to change make the loop zero-length, which then renders it completely unchangeable.https://gitlab.com/LibreArp/LibreArp/-/issues/82Allow for multiple vst3 instances of LibreArp2023-03-01T21:14:31ZsmodisAllow for multiple vst3 instances of LibreArpHi, I love the new features of version 2, but there is something missing from version 1:

The ability to have multiple vst3 copies of LibreArp. With the first version, I created multiple dll files of LibreArp: LibreArp Keys.dll, LibreArp bass.dll, etc. Each with their own presets in REAPER. I could then move through the presets very quickly using program change messages in REAPER, allowing for quick switching of arpeggios based within specific categories.
Is this somehow possible in the new version? Duplicated vst3 files don't show up within REAPER.https://gitlab.com/LibreArp/LibreArp/-/issues/81LibreArp notes do not get exported with LMMS2022-11-01T15:34:27ZDavid RichardsonLibreArp notes do not get exported with LMMSThis is not a bug as such, and is probably a feature request.

I'm trying to use LibreArp within Carla patchbay with LMMS. It works beautifully with playback, however when it comes to exporting the finished track, all arpeggiation is ignored and the bare notes come out in the mix.
I thought that it was just a failing of either the Linux interface in LMMS or some other interface. However I've recently discovered that BlueArp works just fine, albeit requiring the Wine bridge. While BlueArp is very powerful and useful, it's also quite complex and I would much prefer to use LibreArp as it's just so intuitive and suits more the kind of music I produce.
I realise this issue probably affects just me, but is there anything that can be done?https://gitlab.com/LibreArp/LibreArp/-/issues/77Multiple independent pattern tabs2022-08-25T07:39:18ZOto Šťávaoto.stava@gmail.comMultiple independent pattern tabs*Requested by @HermanRoyce, moved to separate issue by me.*

An "add" button that creates a new tab that outputs its own independent pattern(s) on a different midi channel (up to 16 channels/tabs, or at least 4 like Stochas has built-in) - like creating a new instance of LibreArp but contained within the original instance to make it easy to access and change, ideally with each instance's/tab's midi channel able to be nominated, and each instance/tab with its own independent time signature, loop length, snap - everything.https://gitlab.com/LibreArp/LibreArp/-/issues/76MIDI export2022-08-25T07:39:17ZOto Šťávaoto.stava@gmail.comMIDI export*Requested by @HermanRoyce, moved to separate issue by me.*

Notes that end at the same point that another starts do not have a note-off passed to the instrument being played (easily fixed by making the first note end slightly before or after the second starts, in which cases notes-off are sent correctly). I was surprised something this obvious hadn't been picked up before and thought it must be caused by some peculiarity of my particular configuration, or perhaps by my DAW/VST host, but it happens in both Cantabile and MuLab (whether they are playing or not). Presumably, the second note's note-on somehow over-writes the first's note-off.https://gitlab.com/LibreArp/LibreArp/-/issues/72Migrate to JUCE 72022-05-22T18:55:45ZOto Šťávaoto.stava@gmail.comMigrate to JUCE 7As of 2022-05-22, JUCE has a public technical preview of version 7 available. However, if a note in lane 2 of the pattern editor could be set to (and labeled) "-1", then the incoming chord would be arpeggiated as C-Eb-G - changing it from a major to minor chord.
Like the proposed velocity enhancements for v2.0, transposition should be done on a per note basis. This would allow a single input chord to generate complete musical phrases and progressions.
If future velocity settings might be set by scrolling the mousewheel while hovering above a pattern editor note, perhaps transposition could be done the same way - but while holding a modifier key like SHIFT or CTRL.
