hangman game doesn't pick up guesses

Description

the bot randomly decides to not take your letter or word guesses during a hangman game

Version

public nadeko bot, have seen it in shards #0 and #8 (closed) but it could be occuring on all shards

Reproduction Steps

literally start a game of hangman. one of the admins did it on a test server and it worked fine but when we tried it on the nadeko server it just stopped working. i also tried it on 2 more servers and got the same random bug

Expected Behavior

picking up the guessed letters and final guesses

Actual Behavior

NOT doing the Expected Behaviour part
