Causing 100% CPU for random sites

Prerequisites

• [N] Can you reproduce the problem in a fresh firefox profile with only ClearURLs?
• [Y] Are you running the latest version of ClearURLs?
• [N] Are you have changed settings under about:config?

Description

The extension will suddenly start using 100% CPU when I refresh a tab. Will block any reload attempt for the whole browser until I kill its process in the browser task manager

Steps to Reproduce

Cannot reproduce as it is random, it's no particular website

System

• Version: [1.8.1]
• Platform: [Windows 10 Pro/Enterprise 64bit]
• Country: [LU]

Log

As it happens so randomly and sometimes not for days, I've not had logging enabled - I will try again today but I don't like keeping logging on all the time on multiple machines if nothing this likely to happen.
