Vision of the Company
IoTitude is creating a platform for IoT solutions. The Demo product is Harmitusmittari, that collects people's current feeling status with an application that has buttons for different buttons for the different states of mind.
We are IoTitude, a virtual company that started working at Wimma Lab on IoTcity 2.0 project on May 15th 2017. IoTitude consists of seven students from JAMK University of Applied Sciences. Our customer wanted us to develop an IoT-solution for mainly study purposes, one that could handle large amounts of various data, be stable, tested and secure.
June 9th 2017 was the open doors day at Wimma Lab for companies to come and see our progress and to talk with future developers. Our goal was to make a simple, functional demo product for this event. We created a physical IoT-device called "Harmitusmittari". It had four buttons that people could press to show their feelings about Wimma Lab's open doors day. From Harmitusmittari the data went through Kaa into Cassandra. From Cassandra the data was visualized into a web page with Zeppelin.
After the demo, we started to create the production version of IoTcity 2.0. As a team we solved all the projects problems step by step and development was continuous and smooth. We also developed a test environment for running automated tests for the product before updating the production environment.
We produced specific documentation from our product for people outside our team to be able to generate our product in small scale at their own computer or the industrial version in a larger environment.
