The future of this project

Hey David,

I want to publicly thank you for your work. The plugin surpasses the built-in editor by a lot, even if there are some bugs and quirks. It's sad to see this plugin be affected by the recent drama, but I am not to judge your decision as I am mostly a consumer and not contributor to this project.

I think I speak for a few people here, when I say that: it would be a shame if your efforts went to waste. The drama will eventually calm down and I am curious if there is a future for this project?

If politics is an issue, there is a fork of godot in the making ("redot") which will most likely stay compatible to godot while fixing critical issues the community wants. We will see if this project will take off, if so, the plugin will be 100% applicable to it.

All the best!

PS: i learned myself some kotlin recently to be able to tackle the biggest improvements to this plugin, imho, that is refactorings. My time is very limited so I am very interested in your statement.
