Implement particle generation model for gas jets
In a first approach the gas jet is assumed to be a two-dimensional curtain with uniform density. Therefore only the momentum generation is concerned. The gas jet moves in y-direction and is specified via the following parameters:

PhysicalQuantity('LongitudinalTemperature', unit='K')
The velocities of ionization products are sampled from the corresponding Maxwell-Boltzmann distributions and the gas jet velocity is added to v_y
