+# The BioIndic project
+
+The [BioIndic](http://www.cnrt.nc/bioindic/) project proposes to compare restored ecosystems with adjacent "natural" ecosystems on ultramafic substrates in New Caledonia.
+
+The objectives are:
+-  to characterize genetic, taxonomic and functional diversity of fungi, bacterias and plants of revegetated and natural ecosystems
+- to determine the functional connectivity of ecological processes
+- to define bioindicators of revegetated ecosystems
+
+Consortium: IAC – UNC – CIRAD – IRD – UNIV. MONTPELLIER
