Thermal Radiation BC
Hello,
This is a simple steady-state heat transfer model.
A 0.22 m outer diameter, 0.17 m inner diameter tube made from calcium silicate material (k = 0.072 W/m-K) is held at 377 C on its inner surface.
At the outer surface, radiation heat transfer occurs. The surface radiation emissivity is 0.9, and the ambient temperature is 25 C.
In this example, the actual minimum temperature should be 107, while the minimum temperature given by FrontISTR is 264, showing a significant difference between the two results. Could you please take a look at this model? Thank you.
