problems with edit

Hi, I was working with edit very often in the last time and noticed several problems with it: a) within a regular text it is possible to work with a clipboard (Strg(Ctrl) -C/X/V to copy/move parts of a text to another position. But it is not possible to copy the text to search - find or replace. You have to write the text. It would also be helpful if you could copy single characters out of the ASCII table. b) When running a search and you have an overlong text line and the search hit is anywhere at the end of this long text you can press F3 to show the next search hit. But edit does not jump to this position if is at the beginning of the next text line. Means: you do not see the text around the search hit - and if you run search and replace you are never sure if it should be replaced or not. c) Sometimes the red marked characters (e.g. "C" in search - find/replace are used twice, (match Case / Cancel) in this case "Cancel" cannot be used by ALT-C. d) There is also a help button at find/replace, it does not work at all. e) The file - save as window is a little strange. It offers entering a filename, the next line offers C:\ but the three windows below show: Files: command.com - Directories: apps, drives A:, means it will store to C:\ but the offered path is absolutely different - and it shows A: although there is no diskette inside. It even shows A: when I remove the diskette controller in virtual box. f) Help - Help for help, extended help, keys help, help index does not work at all.
