Allow all players to submit their answers as long as they submit in 'Round duration' seconds
Hello!
I am using Quinb 1.1.2
from F-droid.
Currently, the round ends immediately as soon as any player submits answer. That leaves remaining players with no participation.
Instead I suggest that we allow all palyers submit their answers before the 'Round duration' seconds end locking the submitted answers and then show the correct answer & scores obtained.
This also requires tweak in scoring mechanism.
We can:
- award
-1
point to player who submitted wrong answer. - award
0
point to player who did not submit any answer. - award
+1
point to player who submitted correct answer but took maximum time. - award
+2
point to player who submitted correct answer but took maximum time among rest of the players (i.e. excluding the one from 3.) (decreasing order of time taken to submit correct answer) and so on...
So in a 4-player round, the lowest score a player can get is -1
(wrong answer) and the highest score player can get is +4
(correct answe with minimum time taken)
This change will ensure that all the players get a chance to play the round.
