The 17.0 major release is coming on May 16, 2024! This version brings many exciting improvements to GitLab, but also removes some deprecated features. Was getting ssl.SSLError: [SSL: WRONG_VERSION_NUMBER] wrong version number, looked at email sending and seemed like not the easiest way to send emails. Updated it, plus added the ability to send to a custom recipient. (My from is a dead letter mailbox).
