If you Transfer an item and it fails, you end up taking the item
DM4 ( https://www.inform-fiction.org/manual/html/s6.html#p99 ) says:
"For instance, if you only want to prevent an object from entering the player's possession, you need only block the Take action, unless the object is initially in something or on something, in which case you need to block Remove as well."
Presently, this isn't true, as you can use Transfer to move an object to a container or supporter where it won't fit, and you'll end up holding the item. This could be because the receiving container/supporter has a limited capacity or a before rule which blocks the object from being inserted. No Take or Remove action is generated.
This could either be solved by changing the documentation, or by making Transfer generate a Take action. The latter solution may of course cause problems for existing source where Transfer can be used for liquids or gases which can't be taken.
