ipyaggrid extension breaks jupyterlab terminal

This integration is really nice. Unfortunately I am seeing the error discussed here:
https://github.com/ml-tooling/ml-workspace/issues/3
where installing the jupyterlab extension causes some problem launching the terminal (Launcher Error i is not a constructor).

I am seeing this with JupyterLab 1.2.5 after pip install ipyaggrid==0.2.0 and jupyter labextension install ipyaggrid.
