Crowdsourced localization

I was interested in having a french translation for LabCoat, but seeing #326 got stuck in the process, searching for other translations (i18n, l10n) that weren't to be found, and knowing my own lack of knowledge regarding the use of repositories, i feel like we could do better in that domain.

Would you consider using an external tool for crowdsourced localization ?

Using Weblate for example, would allow for translators without technical knowledge (like me) and from all around the globe to contribute translated strings without the need to fully complete the translation. It would also potentialy draw more people into using your app, reporting bugs, suggesting features, and even contribute code, as a broader audience would get to discover it through their own spoken language.
