ebay "Add to Watchlist" button not working with ClearURLs

Description
When logged in, eBay product listings have a textual button "Add to Watchlist".
This button's functionality seems to be broken by ClearURLs. (Oddly, there is a workaround because hovering over the main listing image pops up a "heart" icon and clicking this works!)
Steps to Reproduce
- Log in to eBay (I'm using ebay.com.au but suspect any ebay domain will be the same).
- Open any item listing.
- Click the "Add to Watchlist" button.
Expected behavior:
Item is added to my eBay watchlist.
Actual behavior:
The button click appears to do nothing.
Specifically, the debug tools Console show NS_BINDING_ABORTED for an request to:
GET https://www.ebay.com.au/myb/WatchListAddAjax?item=356994261856&rt=nc&SubmitAction.AddToListVI=x&_trksid=p4429486.l1360&ssPageName=VIP:watchlink:top:enIf I disable ClearURLs then the Console shows that the same request returns status 200 (and the item is added to my watchlist.)
