Description
Decode the base64 portion of Google news article links to bypass tracking. This speeds up page loading time as well as prevents Google from tracking.
Affected fields
The only relevant portion of the news link can be obtained via the regex:
https?://news.google.com/articles/([^\?]+)\?.*
This must be decoded to base64 (padding with = at the end if necessary)
The following fields are unnecessary
- hl
- gl
- ceid
