CentOS Connect at FOSDEM 2023

Before the event

Secure venue. -
Launch web site. -
Announce CFP. -
Close CFP and announce speakers. -
Print tshirts. (Artwork issue) -
Print badges and badge stickers. (Artwork issue) -
Print retractable banners. (Artwork issue) -
Get lanyards. -
Set up YouTube/Meet for virtual participation. -
Set up staffing grid and secure volunteers.
We can also do general CentOS swag, which can also go to our booth at FOSDEM.
After the event
-
Send virtual participants swag. -
Send participant survey. -
Write event report.
Staffing
Live stream monitor and camera operator can be easily combined. We can get by without a mic runner. Registration desk will be busy early on, but not busy later. It can be paired with another job in the PM. Shaun is happy to share emcee duties.
