Proposal: Matrix channel for communication

I personally don't see anything wrong with using IRC/mailing list for communications but I'd love to have a matrix room to talk to you guys. The Hyperscale SIG has a matrix channel on the fedoraproject.org spaceand maybe you guys could also have it? I also believe this will help out with newer people joining the SIG, as they might not be familiar with IRC and stuff that comes with it
