CardBook autocomplete blocks built-in (LDAP) autocomplete
Created by: michaelroland
I've configured an LDAP address book in Thunderbird. Before installing CardBook, addresses were looked up from that LDAP address book while typing names into the address field of new messages. After installing CardBook, addresses are no longer looked up from the LDAP address book but only from CardBook address books. When opening the LDAP address book directly in the "Address Book" window searching for contacts still works.
I configured the "Integration in Thunderbird" options in CardBook like this:
- (Checked) Autocompletion of email addresses
- (Unchecked) Unique source for contacts
- Mail Account Restrictions: List is empty
- Collect Outgoing Email: All Mail Accounts -> Collected Addresses
As soon as I uncheck "Autocompletion of email addresses", lookup in the LDAP address book works again (of course CardBook address books are no longer used then).
I tested this with Thunderbird 52.1.0 (32-bit) and CardBook 19.0.
Moreover, I have these other add-ons installed: (Though I tested with all of them disabled and got the same results.):
- Display Quota 0.3.7
- Enigmail 188.8.131.52
- Lightning 5.4.1
- Signature Switch 1.6.15
- ToggleReplied 0.4
- URL Link 2.04.5
- Virtual Identity 0.9.35
