Cardbook doesn't show address books anymore after upgrading to Thunderbird 68.

Cardbook doesn't show address books after upgrade from Thunderbird 60 to Thunderbird 68.

current behavior

When opening Cardbook no adress books are shown; nor does auto-completion works when composing mails. However in preferences/anniversary the address books still show up.

Creating a new addressbook shows it in the same session and cardbook works normal. After restarting new address books are not shown anymore (but are still displayed in preferences/anniversar)

debug mode is enabled but only show a few messages like this:

I can't find any entries in the thunderbird error console related to cardbook.

expected behavior

Cardbook shows existing address books and autocompletes receivers when composing new messages.
