Pixel 3 proximity sensor

Hello. While making calls with the phone to the ear the screen won't turn off which is causing issues. Installed cpuinfo and the sensor page is blank. Not sure what that means if anything. On current Calyxos release. I did read about others experiencing the same with normal Android 11 since December. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
