Zoleo satellite app not working

Device: Pixel 6 Pro
CalyxOS version: 5.8.0

Brief description of the issue

App won't launch. Either freezes on splash logo or just shows white screen. Same issue reported here: https://www.reddit.com/r/CalyxOS/s/STX9VPRZ09

Steps to reproduce

Launch app

Expected result

Working app, important for off-grid emergencies. Can't use Zoleo device without it.

Actual result

App freezes
