Right button (Overview/Recents/Square) in three-button navigation stops working with third-party launchers

Brief description of the issue

The right most button on the 3 button navigation seems to have stopped working after updating. The problem seems to be caused when the center button is pressed directly after the right button. The problem seems to go away when changing default home app.

Steps to reproduce

1. Enable three button navigation
2. Press the right button and the immediately press the center button
3. Tap the right most button again to see it not work

Expected result

The list of currently open apps should become visible on the screen

Nothing happens
