Generic USB based LED Controller

Hi, I didn't want to pollute this board but I couldn't find any other place to post this. I've been working with openRGB to set wraith prisms and RAM sticks and I was wondering if there's a USB-based controller available on the market, similar on how the Wraith Prism controller would work:

• plug in on USB2.0 headers on motherboard
• control in openRGB
• attach your own 2812B led strips to the USB ledcontroller

This way I could add some lighting to my old motherboards that dont support rgb at all. Are there solutions available like this?
