[Bug Report] Inconsistent Motherboard and Ram Detection
Description of Bug
Hello! just downloaded this program the other day, not too familiar with this community/software. I've been looking for a universal RGB light controlling software and this is the closest I've seen! Very well made and simple to use application. Just three slight issues:
1: This program is really inconsistent with what it detects in my system. At first it only detected my keyboard. Now it seems to consistently detect my keyboard and RAM sticks. But only occasionally detects my motherboard. For those curious, I had to uninstall Valorant/Riot Vangaurd and ASRock polychrome for this program to detect my ram more consistently. I also turned ASRock polychrome off in my Bios.
2: After a complete shutdown (unplugged the tower and everything) both my RAM sticks return to the default rainbow mode and the RGB on my keyboard stays turned off. I have to open up this application again and select "Load Profile" to get it to return to my settings. Is there a way for my RAM and keyboard settings to be turned on automatically on startup/boot?
3: I am kind of amazed it even works with my motherboard?? Like, I don't think it's listed on the supported motherboards section. I wasn't expecting it to work and it's a pretty pleasant surprise. Though I thought I should let you know about the hiccups I encountered before it started working well. Here's a link to the ASRock webpage showing where the RGB is located: http://www.asrock.com/MB/Intel/Z390%20Taichi/index.asp#Overview. There are three sets of LED lights on this motherboard. For simplicity I'll call these Sets A, B, and C (A having "ASRock" printed near it, B having "Taichi" printed near it, and C having no label near it.) When OpenRGB first recognized my motherboard, it didn't recognize where the RGB was, so none of the lights turned on and toggling the "Toggle LED View" did nothing. After a computer restart LED sets A and C turned on, but not set B. After another restart A, B, and C started working, though occasionally nothing shows up when toggling the "Toggle LED View". I've also noticed that sometimes the "Toggle LED View" doesn't accurately portray what colors are currently lit up. Like my keyboard will be lit up blue but the "Toggle LED View" shows it as black. I assume that is unintended.
If you need any more info let me know. Thanks for making this!
