OpenRGB only sees my USB keyboard, missing all other RGB devices (fans, AIO cooler, DDR5 RAM) on AMD + Gigabyte X870

System Specs:

Mobo: Gigabyte X870 Gaming WIFI6 (BIOS F5a) CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 7950X RAM: 64GB DDR5 OS: Manjaro Linux, kernel 6.12 OpenRGB: tried stable 0.9 and openrgb-git Issue:

OpenRGB detects only my Logitech G915 keyboard (USB). All other RGB (motherboard, fans, AIO cooler, DDR5 modules) are missing. Error: “One or more I2C/SMBus interfaces failed to initialize.” What I did:

Confirmed i2c_piix4 + i2c_dev are loaded. Tried unbinding i2c_designware (AMDI0010:*) → error disappears, but still no new devices appear. i2cdetect sees only monitor EDID at 0x50, no sign of SPD or other controllers. decode-dimms says “No EEPROM found” even with modules (ee1004, at24). BIOS has no “SPD Write Protect” or “Memory Fast Boot” toggle. Questions:

Any way to expose onboard or DDR5 RGB on this AMD setup? Do I need to patch ACPI, mod BIOS, or load extra drivers? Anyone got AMD DDR5 boards + coolers/fans working with OpenRGB? Thanks for any guidance!
