[Bug Report] Improper implementation of a certain RGB mode on Gigabyte 4070 Ti Super Gaming

Note: I listed my specific device in the title because it's the one I have and could test, but I suspect this might be a more general issue with Gigabyte cards.

Description of Bug

When selecting the mode named "Tricolor" in OpenRGB I get to choose 3 colors that the GPU would cycle through with a special animation, but it also cycles through other colors I didn't pick and couldn't to control before cycling back to my picks.

I installed Gigabyte's Control Center for comparison. It appears that this "Tricolor" mode is actually called "Dazzle", and cycles through 8 different colors in total, not 3 (will refer to them as colors 1-8 from now on). After selecting and noting down the default color on their software (see the screenshot below), I uninstalled it and switched back to OpenRGB. It seems that the three colors I can choose through OpenRGB ("Mode Color 0/1/2") correspond to color 5/6/7, respectively, in Gigabyte CC. After showing those 3 it would showcase colors 8-4 as I last picked in Gigabyte CC.

In the process of recreating the bug for this report I noticed that colors 2,3,4, which used to appear before shortly after I uninstalled Gigabyte CC, stopped working correctly. Instead, after color 1 it would slowly fade to black (off) over a few seconds before fading back into color 5 (first pick). I suspect this may simply be the red LEDs dimming down as they should for the red > orange > yellow > green transitions while the other LEDs are not turning on until the first color dictated by OpenRGB.

Side note: I think the speed slider does not work either, it might be related or maybe it's a separate issue. Also, the "Intelligent" mode is missing, but its functionality is already covered by a plugin.
