Razer Chroma Addressable RGB Controller

Hi, I'm running OpenRGB 0.91 on Windows 11 (OS Build 22631.3447) and I have a Razer Chroma aRGB controller hooked up to a USB port on my motherboard. No matter what I select I can not get the fans to go any other colour than red. I was having some issues with Razer Synapse so I uninstalled that, it doesn't affect the behaviour of the fans connected to the Razer Chroma. I'm not sure how to proceed, any suggestions are appreciated.

*Update - I reinstalled Synapse to see what that will do, using OpenRGB it will either do the unicorn vomit or red. I don't know if there's a clue in there or not. Oh, that's only if Synapse isn't running, if Synapse is running I can't get light at all.
