[New Device] ASUS ROG Omni Receiver (Multi-Device Dongle)
ASUS has created a new multi-device dongle and is using it for all of their new keyboards and mice. It's one dongle which is able to connect to multiple devices at the same time. It uses a new communication protocol. Unfortunately they weren't clever enough to make it expose itself as a "USB Hub" with virtual "USB devices" for the attached keyboards and mice. Therefore we may need a totally new controller to deal with devices connected to this dongle. Hopefully it turns out to have some kind of simple passthrough of ASUS Aura commands.
Note that the device comes pre-paired with the keyboard/mouse it was sold with. Any other pairing has to be done via ASUS Armoury Crate. After pairing, the dongle/keyboard/mouse (not sure which) remembers the pairing. So people simply have to pair the dongles in Windows and can then use the dongle on Linux or Mac afterwards.
