Lighting effects not syncing across different brands

I wanted a rainbow effect to sync across my 2 hardware devices(ASUS Aura Motherboard, Gigabyte GPU.) However, only my motherboard had an effect called "Rainbow", but I noticed they both had a mode called "Color Cycle" so i went with that instead. Now the problem is that the colors are not syncing and changing at the same time. My GPU seems to be changing slower than the motherboard, I've tried different speed settings and nothing has helped fix the de-syncing issue.
