Kingston Fury memory no longer being detected in Linux

I'm currently working on tracking down this problem, but wanted to write it up in case it overlapped with some expected change.

I have 8 32GB DIMMs of Kingston "Fury" DDR4. Prior to a recent (~last week or so) git pull, it was detected as HyperX RAM, and more or less worked. There was plenty of wonky behavior (usually OpenRGB would only act on the four rightmost DIMMs, not all eight, but it changed from run to run), but OpenRGB saw devices over I2C/SMBUS, and could kinda control them.

Now they're not detected at all.

Figure out why they stopped being detected (I'm working on this now), and once they are, get full support for 8 DIMMs over this interface.

!1401 (merged) and !1402 (closed) have already emerged from this effort.
