[Feature Request] Dynamically detect previously connected devices

Hi, here's my use case that I think a lot of people might have as well. I have effects and visual map plugins installed. There is a KVM switch built into my monitor that switches my keyboard and mouse between my work mac and my PC. I have OpenRGB on my PC for all the RGB effects and everything works great. Then I switch to mac and the keyboard and mouse are disconnected from PC. The effect on rest of the peripherals continue to work which is great. But then I switch back to PC and the effects don't work on mouse and keyboard even though I applied effects on them. So I have to scan the devices again, select the devices in effects and start the effect.

Would it be possible to see if any newly connected device is already configured for effects (thus was present earlier) and continue effects on them?
