G.Skill Trident Z - RGB stopped working on one stick immediately after installing and wont start again

Installed to check this out and within seconds one of my DRAM stick's (2x16GB) RGB stopped functioning. Uninstalled OpenRGB, shut off PC, Removed power, cleared CMOS, even tried pulling DRAM and testing one stick at a time. Same stick has the problem.

Everything was working fine before installing this software, I only installed to change the RGB on my Asus 3080ti because I didn't want to install that Armoury Crate boatware.

Any ideas?
