udev rule stops working on Debian

Description of Bug

I run OpenRGB on Debian Testing (Bookworm), basically a semi-rolling release version of Debian. I use it to control my Razer Cynosa v2 keyboard. I have a systemd unit running at system startup to turn on backlighting on the keyboard (it applies a simple static white light), while the gui is set to run a login and apply a custom effect via the Effects plugin.

Everything worked fine until a few days ago, when after a system update, the udev rule that enabled OpenRGB to detect my keyboard stopped working. Now OpenRGB only detects the keyboard if run as sudo. Interestingly, the systemd unit still works fine.

I wonder if the udev rules for razer keyboards were updated (/usr/lib/udev/99-razer.rules) as a result of the upodate, but in any case it no longer works. Any clues would be appreciated.
