cannot resize motherboard LED number

Hi :)

I am currently testing OpenRGB on the following setup running macOS Catalina 10.15.7 (OC)

  • Asus TUF gaming x570 plus (6 LEDs)
  • ML 360r aRGB (12 LEDs on the pump). I'm using non-RGB fans
  • BeQuiet Pure Base 500DX (10 LEDs on an LED strip) Both the AIO and the strip are connected to a single aRGB header on the MB via a splitter

In Open RGB, 2 devices are detected:

  • "Aura Mainboard" with 5 LEDs
  • "Aura Addressable 1" with 10 LEDs I was able to resize "Aura Addressable 1" to 12 LEDs so that when I set a color for LED X, the corresponding LED lights up on the AIO pump AND and on the strip (I cannot control them separately, since they are on the same header, I guess). Obviously, setting up LED number 11 and 12 has no effect on the LED strip of the case since it has only 10 LEDs.

Now, for the MB LEDs:

  • if I turn on LED1 in OpenRGB, LED 1 and 2 light up
  • if I turn on LED2 in OpenRGB, LED 3 and 4 light up
  • if I turn on LED3 in OpenRGB, LED 5 and 6 light up
  • if I turn on LED4 in OpenRGB, nothing lights up (the MB has 6 LEDs)
  • if I turn on LED5 in OpenRGB, nothing lights up (the MB has 6 LEDs) Apparently, I cannot resize "Aura Mainboard" (greyed out)

Is there any way these LEDs could be controlled independently rather than by pairs?

Thank you very much in advance for your help.

Best,

-a-
