KV 3.0.5 refuses to work

I've been trying to use KV 3.0.5, when I open it up and start playing audio, the visualizer preview area stays black. My peripherals from Razer turn bacl like they are ready to use with KV but nothing happens. When I try to close KV 3.0.5 it stays open in the background, still doesn't work, and leaves my peripherals without chroma until I close it out using task manager background processes. The only reason I am trying to use 3.0.5 is because I have a Cynosa Chroma Pro which needs the special command in settings.txt. This command does nothing on KV 2.0.2. Please help I have no idea what to do.
