Keyboard visualizer not working

Every time I try to use it, it just makes my keyboard and mouse flash like crazy while still doing what lighting settings i have on synapse. When i close the visualizer, it closes into the background and i have to ctrl alt delete to close the program. I have tried reinstalling synapse but that didn't make the visualizer work and i don't know how to fix it so i can just close it without ctrl alt delete. It use to work without problem until i reinstalled windows on a m.2 ssd. I have a blackwiddow chroma and death adder chroma.
