Proposal to manage labels and assignees notifications

Background

During the prior to GUADEC meeting, several contributors who are subscribed to everything complained about getting notification emails related with labels and assignees that are not relevant for them. We would like to reduce what some consider noise.

Task description

Evaluate the default configurations of the tool to prevent labels and assignees changes to be notified. The tasks to do are:

  • Evaluate the default global notification options.
  • Evaluate the label subscription options.
  • Send a mail to the buildstream mailing list explaining these options.

Do the above solve the problems?
