Migrate off GitLab ASAP
GitLab's all-in push on AI "DevSecOps" isn't a good fit for how I think and work. Plus most of the folks in the xterm world I interacted with aren't here anymore, and I never know when GitLab's business model will force me off anyway. May as well prepare now for the next jump.
The plan is below, to go ASAP:
1. ~Find a different host to handle Issues and Wiki. Must-haves: the ability to disable PRs/Merge Requests; full support for the existing wiki syntax; Issues and comments that can include embedded images and videos; not hosted in the USA.~ Codeberg
2. ~Push latest code+wiki to the new host.~ DONE
3. ~Update the web site to point to new host.~ DONE
4. ~Copy the issues that matter most to me over there.~ DONE
5. ~Wipe out the code repository here. Replace with a README to the effect that: 1) if you want an active project that takes contributions head over to Casciian; 2) if you want to see what I'm poking around on head to Codeberg.~ DONE
6. ~Sift through the history of issues and pull relevant items as articles for the Wiki.~ DONE
7. Archive this project.
